Our verdict
Quant Growth & Income (QG&I) is Seeking Alpha's newest model portfolio. It holds up to 30 dividend-paying stocks chosen by rules: Seeking Alpha's Quant Ratings plus its Dividend Grades for safety, growth, yield and consistency, with minimum yield thresholds. The aim is to beat the Vanguard High Dividend Yield ETF (VYM) while keeping a competitive yield.
It is very new. The portfolio started on 3 Jun 2026, and on 29 Oct 2026 Seeking Alpha's page showed +12.58% against +2.41% for the Vanguard High Dividend Yield Index over 149 days to 27 Oct 2026. It is a hypothetical model portfolio, not run with real money, and five months says very little. Past performance is no guarantee of future results.
Through our partner link, new subscribers pay USD 449 for the first year, charged straight away (list USD 499). There is no free trial. It does not include Premium or Alpha Picks.

Seeking Alpha compares its three quant strategies: Alpha Picks aims at long-term growth with a growing list of ideas and no dividend rule; the PRO Quant Portfolio aims at long-term total return with about 30 equal-weight stocks rebalanced weekly; Quant Growth & Income aims at growth plus income, with up to 30 stocks that must pay a dividend.
