About Kai
Stock Research Hub compares the tools investors use to research stocks, find ideas, read charts and track a portfolio. We explain them in plain English and check every price and plan on the official pages.
Who runs it
I'm Kai Schukowski, and I run Stock Research Hub. I'm an investor and the creator of Smart Money with Kai, a YouTube channel where I break down investing, brokers and personal finance.
I also run EU Investing Hub, an investing site for European investors, and MatchMyBroker, which compares brokers. Stock Research Hub covers research tools only, so I leave brokers to MatchMyBroker.
I review the tool pages and reviews on this site myself. Each one shows "Reviewed by Kai" with the date the facts were last checked.
My other sites
- MatchMyBrokerCompare stock brokers and find one that fits where you live.
- EU Investing HubGuides, savings rates and broker comparisons for European investors.
- Smart Money with KaiMy YouTube channel and blog about investing and personal finance.
How I research
- Prices, plans, free plans and trials come from each tool's own pricing page. Every fact has a source link and a "checked" date.
- If I could not confirm something on an official page, I leave it out instead of guessing.
- I rank tools by the job they do, such as screening or tracking a portfolio. I score every tool on the same published criteria, using facts from official pages and my own testing.
- I do not create paid accounts just to read prices. Where a review needs a hands-on test, I say so.
Research, not advice
Everything on Stock Research Hub is general information about software. It is not personal investment advice and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell any stock. Investing involves risk and you can lose money. Think about your own situation, and speak to a licensed adviser if you need advice.
How we make money
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you subscribe to a tool through one of them, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. We also include tools that pay us nothing. Partner links go through /go/ addresses and are marked as sponsored. Read more in How we make money and How we rank tools.
